CP3 Program — Talent Evaluation & Impressions
Each year CP3’s program continues to surface players with long-term upside and immediate production value. This session was no different. The group mixed polished shot-makers, long and switchable defenders, and raw but fascinating prospects still finding their identity. Below is a deeper look at the standouts and how their skill sets project moving forward.
Dynamic Wings & Playmakers
Miles Moten — 6’3 Wing
Long, smooth, and poised, Moten plays with a purpose rarely seen at this stage. He doesn’t waste dribbles, getting to his preferred scoring spots with confidence. His jumper is clean and repeatable, and his ball-handling allows him to operate beyond just catch-and-shoot scenarios. The intriguing part is his defensive ceiling — his length and activity could make him a multi-positional stopper as his body matures.
Omari Alleyne — 6’3 Wing
Alleyne is built for physical play and embraces contact. He rebounds in traffic, finishes through defenders, and willingly guards up or down a position. That strength combined with a motor that doesn’t slow makes him a reliable piece on both ends of the floor. He fits the mold of the tough, do-everything wing every team covets.
Shane Collins — 6’4 Wing
Collins may still be refining his offensive game, but the tools jump out. He has natural length, rebounds well, and attacks off the catch with slashing instincts. As his handle and jumper come along, his ability to guard wings and impact the glass should keep him relevant at the next level.
Karter Boone — 6’4 Wing
Boone’s frame screams upside. All arms and reach, he’s a blank canvas for development. Once his coordination and confidence catch up to his body, he could become a disruptive defender and a dangerous finisher.
Interior Presence & Frontcourt Upside
Cannon Washington — 6’8 Forward
Few players in the gym matched Washington’s energy and versatility. He’s relentless on the boards and quick to turn defense into offense — either with a few dribbles himself or by sprinting the lanes for easy transition buckets. His emerging face-up skill set hints at a modern forward who can rebound, push tempo, and score in space.
Alex Mufu — 6’6 Forward
There’s a raw but undeniable toughness to Mufu’s game. A recent arrival from Africa, he competes hard on the glass and finishes through heavy contact. His physical profile is already strong, and with skill development and experience stateside, he could take major leaps.
Bentley Buell — 6’8 Center
Buell’s combination of size and mobility makes him an intriguing long-term prospect. He runs the floor hard, shows soft touch out to 17 feet, and has a knack for finding cutters and open teammates as an interior passer. With more lower-body strength, he could be a reliable inside-out big.
Guards With Pace & Feel
Gee Camrin — 5’7 Point Guard
Lightning quick, Camrin constantly pressured defenders. He lives in attack mode — pushing tempo whenever possible and breaking down defenses in the half court. His midrange comfort keeps defenders honest, and his speed alone creates rim pressure that bends coverages.
Aston Smith — 5’10 Point Guard
Smith’s maturity as a floor general stands out. He organizes teammates, communicates coverages, and plays with patience out of ball screens. He has the vision to create for others and the instincts to jump passing lanes defensively. Coaches looking for a true extension of the bench will appreciate his reliability.
Elijah Ross — 5’9 Point Guard
Ross brings a cerebral approach to pick-and-roll play, manipulating angles to create scoring and passing lanes. His decision-making and ability to produce in small windows show a guard who understands pace and shot selection.
Reliable Scorers & Shot Creators
Tallen Pinson — 6’1 Shooting Guard
Pinson thrives on toughness — scoring through contact, defending with grit, and rebounding despite size. He has an old-school approach: direct, physical, and competitive every possession.
Josiah Dempsey — 5’11 Shooting Guard
One of Georgia’s top shooters, Dempsey again validated his reputation with range and confidence. Beyond the shot, he attacks closeouts smartly and competes defensively, proving he’s not one dimensional.
Emory McIntyre — 6’1 Shooting Guard
Polished and poised, McIntyre shows the coach’s son IQ in every action. He’s dangerous off the dribble with an elevated midrange pull-up and the ability to stretch the floor. His understanding of space and timing at this age makes him a tough cover.
Michael Collins
Knows how to get to his scoring spots with confidence. A tough downhill attacker who absorbs contact and still finishes plays. Handles the ball well enough to create separation but at times can be loose with ball, exposing himself to defensive pressure.
Final Take
This CP3 group impressed not only with physical measurables but with feel and coachability. Players like Moten, Washington, Mufu and Dempsey already have defined strengths that translate. Others like Boone, Alleyne, and Buell carry exciting ceilings as their games round out. Add in steady guards like Smith and McIntyre, and you have a collection of prospects who can impact different levels of play and fit multiple roster needs.
